My Approach
I work relationally which means I believe the relationship we form as client and therapist is extremely important. Working together, we can try to understand and resolve your challenges in a safe and judgement-free space where you will be respected and valued.
I can help you to explore the impact some of your earliest relationships may have had on your life and your relationships with others. I aim to support you with warmth and empathy and believe that everyone is capable of change and growth.
I understand how important it is to have feelings of self-acceptance and self-worth, and how shame and other difficult experiences can rob us of these qualities. I can offer you support around these issues and other events and relationships which may have hurt you in the past or that you are currently struggling with.
Practicalities
Session details: After the initial session, and if we agree to work together, we will arrange a regular time to meet. This is usually at the same time each week, and each therapy session lasts for 50 minutes.
